PERRY FARRELL & KIND HEAVEN ORCHESTRA
In April 2019, I joined Perry Farrell’s solo project Kind Heaven Orchestra. It has been a total pleasure touring and making music with Perry and his wife Etty, plus his killer ensemble of musicians: Nick Maybury, Chris Chaney, Matt Rohde, Kevin Stea, Joie Shettler, Jules Galli, Stu Brooks, Janice Cruz, Jamari Amour, Dan Cleary. Perry’s two bands Jane’s Addiction and Porno For Pyros were both huge parts of my musical upbringing.
Rest in peace Darryl Bott. Anyone that was fortunate enough to have him as a teacher knows that he was one of the most wonderfully inspiring and passionate human beings on the planet. Demanding, uncompromising, challenging, motivating, relentless… in the best ways possible. He was my music teacher throughout 4 years of high school, and he absolutely changed the course of my life. And I am quite certain that he changed the courses of thousands of other students too. Thank you Darryl.
