Beth Thornley
Wash U Clean
Raised in Birmingham, Alabama by two classical musicians, the now L.A. based singer-songwriter Beth Thornley grew up submerged in the pristine sounds of Beethoven and the “fantastic gospel music” heard each Sunday on the radio. She earned a classical music degree, then landed in Los Angeles in the late ’90s to pursue her rock karma calling.
Beth’s songs have been in a bunch of TV shows and movies. AllMusic describes her music as “classic sounds of ’70s pop/rock with the earnestness of Aimee Mann and Beth Orton for her own playful kind of sweetness.” Her latest album is Wash U Clean. Brendan plays drums all over it. Booyah.
