We’re soccer crazy! I’ve joined up with Leehom Wang’s band and dancers for their ritualistic pre-concert soccer matches. Friendly fervor.

Elsten Torres and I spent the past week making final mixes of his new record “Waiting For Clouds” thanks to the help of uber-mixing engineer Sebastian Krys, and his home studio. This album features a lot of our generous, talented friends such as: Grecco Buratto, Joe Ayoub, Peter Wallace, Ben Peeler, Adam Zimmon, Olgui Chirino, Gaby Moreno, Joel Shearer, Una Palliser, Peter Adams, and many more. We can hardly wait to master these songs and get them out there into the world. Azucar!

This week, we finished up Minnie Driver’s new album at Jim Scott’s PLYRZ Studio. Fun, fun, fun. A lot of pleasantly surprising song choices. We had a blast. Minnie was one of the very first artists I worked with upon moving to Los Angeles, so each of our gatherings is like hanging out with family. Some of the usual suspects this time around were: Rami-lama Jaffe, Doc Dauer, Kaveh Rastegar, Peter Adams, Mark Noseworthy, Brett Farkas, Joe (Karnivore) Karnes, and Chris Joyner.
