Finally! It’s been 15 years since I last visited Seoul. This trip was a special one to me because Korea is my mother’s homeland. I spent a lot of time in Bukchon Village… getting super-lost in the small winding streets, ALL lined with artsy buildings and inviting cafes. More strolling and eating and strolling and eating… through Insadong, Hongdae, and Itaewon… Of course, we stopped for Korean BBQ in the Sinsa-Dong neighborhood of Gangnam. Seoul has at least five coffee shops per block, but to save time, skip ahead to: Botton and ChansBros. I highly recommend them (next time you’re here!). Ah, my roots…
