Antonio Sánchez

The magnificent Antonio Sanchez is a force of nature. You might know him from his work with Pat Metheny, or Antonio’s solo project Migration. However, he might be most well known for the beautifully frenetic percussion score he composed for the award-winning 2014 Alejandro Iñarittu film “Birdman.”

I felt fortunate to get to know Antonio during the 2019 Percussive Arts Convention, and I am thrilled to have him on this series. ⚡️ Thanks so much for jamming with me Antonio!
