Fred Armisen

The magnificent Fred Armisen is the fearless drummer of the 8G Band on Late Night With Seth Meyers. Over the years, he has also drummed with Blue Man Group and Trenchmouth.

I first met Fred over a decade ago on the set of Saturday Night Live. You might recognize Fred from his involvement with shows and films such as Portlandia, Documentary Now, Los Espookys, Moonbase 8, and Anchorman. I strongly suggest checking out Fred’s Netflix special: “Standup for Drummers,” or his alter-ego Jens Hannemanne (Complicated Drumming Technique). Absolutely superb!
