Lil’ John Roberts

I first met Lil’ John Roberts at a rehearsal studio in Los Angeles many years ago, and was taken aback by his warmth and kindness. He’s also a drummer I absolutely love listening to. Lil’ John’s drumming on George Duke’s “Face The Music” is totally perfect. His résumé includes work with Janet Jackson, Jeff Lorber, Stevie Wonder, George Benson, and many more. Lil’ John is currently a faculty member at Berklee College of Music. Check out his 2014 solo album “The Heartbeat”. ⚡️ Thanks for jamming with me, John.
